BS EN 1090 – Some things you need to be aware of & how we can help…
The EU has implemented increasingly rigorous safety and quality regulations as part of the Construction Products Directive (CPD). Since 2014, all fabricated steel has to carry the CE Mark. This is recognised both as a promise of quality and reliability, as well as an indication of compliance with BS EN ISO 3834.
Our Approach To Implementing BS EN 1090-2:2018 FPC
To write and implement a factory production control manual in accordance to BS EN ISO 1090-1:2018. This includes:
- Works procedures
- Works instructions
- Document templates
- To deliver welder testing to the most recent versions of ISO 9606-1 for certificated approvals, and ISO 15614 for Welding Procedures
- Testing is completed by Our UKAS accredited laboratory
- Full guidance of weld inspection documents by the appointed Responsible Weld Co-ordinator
